A shrink-fit machine, or thermal shrink-fit process, enables high-precision mechanical assembly by using temperature changes to permanently bond two parts without welding or screws.
This assembly technique ensures a perfect fit between the tool holder and the tool. Extreme precision and maximum clamping force prevent the tool from vibrating or slipping, even at very high speeds.
This also allows for thinner shrink-fitted tool holders, facilitating machining in narrow areas of a workpiece.
Important information
Highlights include "Matsuura", "OKK", "Biglia" and "Nakamura Tome" CNC machining centres, a "Kasto" automatic band saw, "Trimos" and "Mitutoyo" measuring equipment, grinding machines, tooling and raw material stocks (steel, aluminium, titanium, "Inconel", "PEEK" and copper). A single dismantling contractor appointed by the seller will be mandatory for all buyers. Dismantling, loading and transport will therefore be coordinated centrally to ensure safe and efficient removal of the equipment.
