It can neutralise H2S and NH3.
A two-stage system can neutralise both substances effectively. In the first stage, water with H2SO4 (sulphuric acid) is added to the washing water to neutralise the ammonia and convert it into almost odourless ammonium sulphate. This stage is necessary because ammonia prevents other substances in the process air from being absorbed.
After the ammonia has been removed, the process air enters the second stage, where caustic soda (NaOH) is added. At a pH above 7, the washing water is able to absorb the H2S. With a sufficient surface area (= residence time) in the scrubber, it is possible to wash out 99.9% of the strong-smelling substance.

Please note! This lot is located in a water treatment plant. Professional dismantling required. Work can only commence once the seller has approved the safety plan.
